In the Jungle of Bryionaran, he recovered the magical Warhammer of Bryarndal, said to possess the power to rule the town of Darham. While travelling through the cold marsh east of Harville, he encountered the minions of the wizard Alin, said to possess the power to turn men to stone. He fought the ogres which Alin sent against him, and faced his foe in a great melee, which he finally won. With his foe defeated, he continued on his way. His quest finally ended when he returned to his homeland and founded a new and great village called Bryalarnbrook.
